Global megatrends such as the energy transition, digitalization, and the rapid expansion of AI infrastructure are driving electricity demand sharply higher – and with it, the demand for industrial metals. At the same time, structural supply constraints are intensifying: declining ore grades, aging mines, a lack of investment, and multi-year project timelines are limiting new output.
